Sheffield University Performing Arts Society (SUPAS) is the University of Sheffield’s only society specialising in musical theatre.

We put on three shows each academic year in the University Drama Studio; past productions include Footloose, The Wedding Singer, Little Shop of Horrors, Into the Woods, Amélie, Be More Chill, Made in Dagenham, Songs for a New World and The Addams Family to name just a few!

We also regularly run a variety of workshops and projects in which we collaborate with other performance societies. We host plenty of informal sober and non-sober socials throughout the semester too!

Our core philosophy is to have fun and be as inclusive as possible, welcoming everyone regardless of experience. Whether you like to act, sing, dance, play an instrument, direct, design costume or run tech, there's a place for you!
